Are you looking for full-time, part-time or are you a student looking for holiday work? We are recruiting for Care Assistants/Carers to come and work with us in Wantage and the surrounding towns and villages.
Hours: Flexible - full time, part time, bank, weekend
Pay Rates: £9.65 - £15.70 Experienced Carers
£11.50 - £ 16.80 Senior Carers
We would also like to hear from you if you wish to start a new career in Care. We offer full training.
£8.80 - £12.80 New to Care
Contracted hours are available - Paid travel time and mileage - Free in-house training programme - Option of a car lease
Job Description:
To help support and maintain a service user’s active role in their local community. To promote independence and help the service user deal with their day-to-day lives.
What we need you to do
Help the people we support in their own homes to maintain and increase their independence.
Empowering people to try new things.
Help with daily care: personal care, such as bathing and dressing
Light domestic duties
Basic food preparation
Medication administration (full training given on all tasks)
What we need you to have
A caring nature that can be transformed into a rewarding career.
A passion to promote independence to our service users.
A willingness to expand your knowledge about various parts of the job.
Good communication skills (written and verbal).
Good planning skills and you will be required to work to a tight schedule.
An ability to build strong working relationships.
A strong sense of initiative.

Work experience within the industry.
NVQ or Diploma in Health & Social care.
