Home Helpers Care Training

At Home Helpers Care we provide free induction training as we are committed to training and developing our carers so they are fully qualified to care for our clients.

Regardless of their experience, all our carers go through the same training so they are up to the Home Helpers Care standard.

Our in-house trainer is experienced in delivering tailor-made courses such as Awareness in moving and handling in the work place and the basics in Emergency First Aid. The carers also go through an induction programme which includes:

• Personal care

• Health & Safety including use of hoist and other mobility equipment

• Confidentiality and report writing

• Administrative duties

• Knowledge of nutrition, toileting and other general duties

• Observation and record keeping

As we are committed to performing at the highest possible standard, we keep all our carers up to date with changes in regulation and legislation and we also provide regular refresher training for all our carers.
